About Us: We are a community of volunteers working to create a living database of police violence in Canada as a means to advocate for deep structural change.
Mission: To document police violence across Canada as a means to petition lawmakers to dismantle racist, discriminatory, and oppressive laws and practices that disproportionately target Black, Indigenous, and racialized communities.
Vision: To eliminate institutionalized racism, colonialism, and white supremacy within Canada’s governance by mobilizing a community of volunteers to collect data, enhance public awareness, and hold lawmakers accountable.
